Offer Description:
New team members will in collaboration with renowned global partners work in the following Slovenian and other international projects:
- HyBReED – Hydrogen/Battery-based Resilient Chemical Energy Storage Development,
- RealHyFC – Reliable durable high power hydrogen fueled PEM Fuel Cell stack,
- MEAsureD - Advanced MEAs ensuring high efficiency HDV.
In listed projects, we collaborate with key companies and development institutions along the entire Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) value chain. LICeM researchers are at the forefront of developing virtual tools for PEMFC development, control, and diagnostics, supporting the intensification of hydrogen technologies in heavy transport with cutting-edge digital solutions. These projects aim to address technical challenges related to the reliability and flexibility of fuel cell stacks, by developing innovative solutions based on improved mechanistic-based degradation models. Our commitment is to develop cost-competitive, reliable, and sustainable fuel cell technology, and our researchers are recognized as leaders within the European Union.
The work includes:
- development of simulation models in numerical environments,
- development of control strategies, methodologies, and technologies,
- management of individual tasks in international projects,
- participating in international meetings as part of projects,
- preparation of reports and contribute to the creation of scientific publications.

- proactivity, high motivation and the desire to work in a group,
- proficiency in understanding basic programming logic (preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of MATLAB, MATLAB Simulink, and the Python programming environment or language),
- strong communication skills in English,
- knowledge about electrochemical systems is a plus.
